Fun one today.
Tsung left Uber during the pandemic and taught himself to code.
Then he decided software was not enough.
He wanted something he could work on for 30 years.
So he learned hardware the hard way. An autonomous quadcopter in his garage. Then two VTOLs built from scratch, three months each. He had never built anything that flew on a wing. He crashed a lot. He posted all of it.
The second launch video went viral.
Then he started Vight.
He built the thing before he built the company.
It’s inspiring to see.
And I love this quote. "Is there a path to make this something that millions of people could potentially one day use and make normal, like just make it boring? Like, how do you make flying cars boring one day?"
